Justin is a Teacher, Creative Technologist, and Interaction Director in New York City

Justin Bakse is the director of the Design + Technology BFA program at the Parson School of Design, where he teaches classes related to studio practice and creative applications of technology. He makes art with and out of code, with a focus in procedurally generated form and interactive installation. His recent research focuses on developing tools to support teaching creative coding. Justin graduated from Cranbrook Academy of Art where he received his MFA in 2D Design, and Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in sculpture and interactive media.
